Raw materials are mixed according to the desired tungsten carbide quality and wet milled. Tungsten carbide powder with a pouring capability is produced in the hot gaseous flow of the spray tower.

When the tungsten carbide powder is pressed in moulds - into so-called pressed parts - it is compressed to approximately 50% of its final density.

The tungsten carbide, along with its excellent properties, is produced through sintering in vacuum furnaces and sinter-hip installations. Precise process management which, in addition to specialist knowledge, also demands a great deal of experience, forms a decisive factor in the quality of the tungsten carbide produced.
