BETEK unveils new product at BAUMA:
Dragon Tooth tools for excavation work

Betek, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tools tipped with tungsten carbide, is unveiling the latest generation of Dragon Tooth foundation drilling tools at the BAUMA show. Developed specifically for use on pilot bits, augers and core rings, the Dragon Tooth sets new standards: with a high percentage of operating costs in excavation work accounted for by the tools, the Dragon Tooth’s especially high levels of durability and resistance to wear pay off well in all such projects. Even in the toughest conditions of use special tool systems fitted with tungsten carbide tips excel due to their robust strength, which is achieved not least through the use of tungsten carbide of the highest grade. The specially shaped tungsten carbide tooth ensures fast drilling progress, as it penetrates with minimal resistance. A tool holder with an anti-rotate lock is also available. The tool’s special shape protects the holder from wear. For applications with different requirements round shank cutter bits can also be used as an alternative to the Dragon Tooth system in the same holder. These bits are also an integral part of the proven Betek range. Through the optimum interplay of holders and tools, Dragon Tooth sy stems ensure that excavation work projects never stand still.

Betek’s comprehensive array of tools for foundation drilling also includes bits for augers, flat teeth, studs for casing pipes, pilot bits and tungsten carbide weld-on teeth.
